Dance Connected recognise’s that having a robust partnership approach and strategic plan is vital for a sustainable infrastructure for dance development across the county.

Dance Connected supports this through a number of methods but particularly through our partnerships with our sub-regional and regional organisations; which include local authorities, sports organisations, the health sector, the professional dance sector and the education sector.

Dance Connected aims to build a long lasting legacy through the outcomes of the Dancing for the Games project and also through investment in thorough research, consultation, evaluation and case studies.

In 2009 Staffordshire Arts Development Officers Group (SADOG) commissioned a consultation report, which produced and evidenced the overwhelming need to adopt a partnership approach to dance development for the county.
